Our Passion
Our passion is raising Great Danes who are as healthy and well-mannered as they are beautiful. We’re a small, intentional Great Dane breeder in Georgia, just outside Atlanta, and our focus is always on the dogs first. Every litter is thoughtfully planned with AKC-registered, health-tested parents who have sound structure and gentle, family-ready temperaments.
Our puppies are raised in our home, not in kennels. They grow up being held, talked to, played with, and included in daily life. From day 3, we begin Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and structured socialization to help them develop confidence, curiosity, and resilience.
We do this because we believe pets are family. We’ve lived firsthand the difference a well-bred, well-loved dog can make in a home. The connection, the companionship, the goofy moments, the comfort on hard days — it matters. And we want every family who brings home a Diamond Dane to experience that same joy and bond.
Maverick
Maverick is the heart and foundation of Diamond Danes—a stunning blue harlequin with one blue eye, one green eye, and a presence you can’t ignore. He was Bob’s dream dog, the harlequin Great Dane he always hoped for, and Maverick has more than delivered. With his massive size, bold markings, and boundless personality, he stops traffic in the neighborhood—whether he’s racing across the yard at full speed, showing off his goofy antics, or just standing there looking majestic. He’s a total character who loves to “talk back,” insists on being a lap dog, and keeps us all laughing (and slightly out of breath trying to keep up). Maverick is equal parts beauty, brawn, and comic relief—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Maleificent "Millie"
Millie is our gorgeous 100% European Great Dane, with a velvet-soft black coat and a splash of white on her chest. She’s calm, affectionate, and has the classic big blocky head that turns heads everywhere she goes. As a dam, she’s nurturing and gentle, with a sweet nature that shines through in every pup she raises. She also has a serious love for water—we joke that she has a drinking problem. Her preferred vessel? A 5-gallon bucket, which she drinks from with gusto, often dunking her whole head in like she’s bobbing for apples.

Meet Our Team
Bob Diamond
Meet Bob — an award-winning outdoor designer with a steady hand, a good eye, and a soft spot for Great Danes. After years of designing and building outdoor living spaces across Atlanta, he brings that same craftsmanship home to Woodstock. He’s the one who builds the puppy play yards, designs the shaded rest areas, and makes sure the dogs have environments that are as thoughtful as they are functional.
He is most at ease outdoors — coffee in hand, Jeep keys somewhere nearby, and a couple of giant dogs leaning against him like he’s their favorite piece of furniture. He has a calm, grounded presence that Great Danes naturally gravitate toward.
Bob is also a dedicated UGA football and Orlando Magic basketball fan. Game days around here are relaxed: good coffee, quiet commentary, and a dog or two stretched across his legs.
He values quality, patience, and doing things the right way. The dogs feel that.

Grace Diamond
Grace is Bob’s youngest daughter and the quiet joy behind our day-to-day rhythm. She loves coffee, books, and baking — and the puppies adore her calm, gentle presence. She’s often found reading with a Dane asleep across her lap or in the kitchen, whipping up her homemade “Gracie Treats,” which are included in many of our puppy take-home packets.
Her friendships mean a lot to her — one of our puppies was even named Tingle in honor of her best friend. Whether she’s soaking up the sun with a sleepy pup or laughing while baking cookies, Grace brings warmth and ease to our home. The puppies feel it — and so will you!
Cheryl Tracz
Cheryl is the organizational engine behind Diamond Danes. Think schedules, records, puppy charts, health documentation, website updates, and making sure everything gets done when it’s supposed to. She’s a dog lover and Jeep enthusiast, but she’s also the one with the clipboard, the shared calendar, and the politely raised eyebrow when something is “not on the list.”
She keeps the business running smoothly, captures the photos, updates the social media, and yes — reminds Bob of deadlines. If you’re wondering how all of this stays coordinated and not chaotic… ask Bob. He’ll confirm that Cheryl is the reason.
You’ll usually find her working with a fruit punch in hand, a Great Dane leaning against her leg, and just the right touch of pink to brighten the day — proving that a breeding program can be joyful, organized, and a little bit fun all at the same time.
